Eureka, CA

The City of Eureka was looking for a partner to help build civic pride and more directly promote Eureka’s tourism industry. Eddy Alexander was awarded a multi-year contract to become the Agency of Record for the City. Since awarded, Eddy Alexander has created a new brand identity after conducting stakeholder interviews, researching market trends, and hosting focus groups. Throughout the contract, Eddy Alexander will also create branded assets such as a new website, digital and print collateral, and consistent messaging across City communications.

Redwood Sky Walk – Eureka, CA

Eddy Alexander was asked to develop a compelling visual identity brand and advertising strategy for the Redwood Sky Walk, and to leverage the city’s investment in the attraction to drive earned media and visitation from around the world. 
Since its opening in June, Eddy Alexander has worked with over 200 media outlets to place the Redwood Sky Walk in top publications worldwide, including The New York Times, Condé Nast Traveler Spain, Travel + Leisure, Frommer’s, Lonely Planet, and the San Francisco Chronicle.  The team has collaborated with over 2,000 freelance travel writers, bloggers, and influencers and secured more than 200 print/digital stories, more than 400 radio stories, and more than 14 stories oversees, in 11 different countries. The estimated earned media value of coverage is in excess of $4 million to date (in 9 months).

New River Valley, VA

Following a competitive bidding process, the New River Valley Economic Development Alliance hired Eddy Alexander to develop a new brand identity for both the region and the organization. After extensive community research, Eddy Alexander was able to satisfy 100+ powerful regional stakeholders (four counties, one city, two universities and more than 100 private business leaders). The project has helped the newly named “Onward NRV” organization significantly increase their number of local investors involved in economic development and grew their operating budget to more than $1.6M.

Floyd, VA

After a competitive bidding process, Floyd County, Va. hired Eddy Alexander to craft an official visual identity for the county that aligned with its community’s values, its existing reputation, and its unique sense of independence and self-reliance. Alongside the county’s tourism and economic development department, Eddy Alexander conducted research that included community tours, business owner interviews, and stakeholder focus groups. The new Floyd logo and usual identity now helps tell the story of the unique and vibrant community of Floyd. 

City of Leesburg, VA

The historic town of Leesburg, VA partnered with Eddy Alexander to produce high-quality photography and videography including planning, production, and editing that would build a repository archive for future use promoting to community. In a season of growth and diversification, Leesburg sought to showcase their offerings through a series of business-to-business marketing materials, print and digital advertising, website updates, and publication to video streaming services. Eddy Alexander conducted seasonal production days to capture the community through the year and showcase a broad range of the communities offerings, businesses, events, and lifestyle.
