Nicola Waugh
Marketing Manager
Nicola Waugh is a creative marketing manager with over a decade of experience in the higher education, entertainment and non-profit sectors. As an independent film producer, Waugh has an exceptional understanding of what it takes to tell visually compelling stories and to work with both large and small teams towards a shared goal. Waugh’s passion for building community and leveraging underrepresented voices is woven into her prior strategic management of sensitive higher education campaigns that focused on mental health, Indigenization and sexual violence. Nicola holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Culture from Toronto Metropolitan University and is a part-time Lecturer in the Department of Art + Film at Cal Poly Humboldt.
