For three decades, Travis Christ has been at the forefront of integrated marketing for companies big and small across the travel and airline landscape. Along the way, he has transformed digital and commercial capabilities resulting in revenue-driving and brand-elevating impact for some of the most admired travel brands in the world – including American Airlines and Continental Airlines.
In his current role as Head of Marketing for Avelo Airlines – America’s first new airline in more than a decade – Travis is establishing the Avelo brand across the country using a digital-first approach to customer engagement and optimized profitability. His airline career began in college with a variety of airport roles with American Airlines. At Continental Airlines in the early 90’s, Travis was part of the Network Planning group that implemented the “Worst to First” restructuring that led to what is today’s United Airlines.
With America West and US Airways Travis was Chief Marketing Officer among a variety of roles that included Network Planning, Sales, Marketing, Distribution, and E-Commerce. Travis holds an MBA in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BBA in Business Economics & Public Policy from George Washington University
