Grammy award-winning singer Sara Bareilles announced plans to visit her hometown of Eureka, California, to do a free community concert at Halvorsen Park. Hundreds of people were needed to coordinate the large-scale event, and multiple stakeholders were involved including Sara Bareilles and her management team, security, the production company, the city, and the community. The city of Eureka called upon Eddy Alexander to help with event management, public relations, and emergency management planning. Such an event needed precise care and attention to detail.
